Promoting Health Education and Awareness

PMF conducts targeted health education campaigns to raise awareness about hygiene, nutrition, reproductive health, mental wellness, and disease prevention. Using schools, community centers, local radio, and religious gatherings, NEPAS empowers individuals to make informed health choices and adopt healthier behaviors.

Improving Social Conditions That Affect Health

Recognizing that health is influenced by social and environmental factors, we support communities with water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) initiatives. These programs reduce exposure to waterborne diseases and promote safe living environments. PMF partners with local groups to provide psychosocial support and economic empowerment opportunities.

Supporting Gender Equity and Vulnerable Populations

We prioritize the needs of women, children, and vulnerable groups by offering safe spaces, maternal and child health support, gender-based violence response services, and inclusive health education.

Strengthening Local Systems and Collaboration

We collaborate with county health departments, local leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure services are well-coordinated and community-driven. Through training, policy advocacy, and capacity building, NEPAS helps strengthen local health systems for long-term sustainability.

PMF is playing a critical role in reducing health inequalities in Kenya by providing accessible services, empowering communities, and addressing the root causes of poor health. With continued support and collaboration, NEPAS aims to build healthier, more equitable communities where no one is left behind.
